A federal judge in Minnesota demanded to know why Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is not complying with court orders and failing to immediately release immigrants who are being wrongfully detained as part of Operation Metro Surge. 

Staffers at the Post have been on edge for weeks about the rumored cuts, which the publication would not confirm or deny. “It’s an absolute bloodbath,” said one employee, not authorized to speak publicly.

Supreme Court, which had rejected a Democratic challenge to Texas redistricting in December, denied review of a lower-court ruling that found the California maps were drawn for partisan political purposes, a goal the high court has ruled to be legal.
