All along Florida’s Gold Coast from Palm Beach to Miami, luxury real estate brokers began fielding a torrent of urgent calls from tech chieftains and their associates wanting to see houses that they could buy before the end of year to establish domiciles in an effort to preserve their wealth.

Woman Named Alysa Liu Has Instagram Suspended

Blizzard, Polar Vortex, Heat Dome Atmos River

A San Francisco tech worker named Alysa Liu had her Instagram account suspended after Olympic figure-skater Alysa Liu won gold and caused a surge of fan confusion.  The suspension came after the skater warned of scammers on Instagram, leading Meta to mistake the other Alysa as an imposter.  

Nearly every region of the U.S. is facing extreme weather at once—from blizzards and a polar vortex in the Midwest and East to a blazing heat dome in the Southwest pushing temps past 100°F, rare March record highs in L.A., atmospheric rivers drenching Hawaii, and heavy snow across the Great Lakes.
