The Washington Post reports that shrinking U.S. missile and munitions inventories, driven largely by the conflict with Iran, are putting intense pressure on the Pentagon to rebuild its arsenal quickly.
Russia launched a massive overnight assault on Ukraine with 284 drones and 70 missiles, killing at least eight people and injuring dozens more across multiple regions of the country, according to Ukrainian officials. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy blamed the casualties in part on shortages and delays in Western air-defense support.
