A legal dispute between Reedley farmer Cesar Mora and Giumarra Brothers Fruit Company has left Mora unable to sell a large crop of white nectarines. Rather than let the fruit go to waste, he opened his orchard to the public and began giving away over 125,000 pounds of nectarines for free, drawing thousands of visitors from across the Central Valley.
