DA Lisa Smithcamp Responds to Attack 

The Washington Post's Scott Clement examines how a fabricated polling organization called Median Strategies was able to inject fake election polls into the political information ecosystem and evaluates which media outlets, poll trackers, and aggregators caught the deception and which did not. 

Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smithcamp has identified the stabbing victim as one of the county's senior deputy district attorneys. Authorities have not released their name out of respect for the DA and his family.
