After a viral video showed a chaotic scene involving students, parents, and a school bus in Calaveras County, the Calaveras Unified School District released a detailed timeline to counter claims that students were trapped on the bus for over an hour before authorities were called. 

At Fresno Unified's first school board meeting since the district announced it was eliminating centrally funded field trips for TK-6 students, no parents appeared to speak during public comment, despite significant public backlash online and thousands of signatures on a petition opposing the cuts.
