A federal appeals court has rejected Meta's attempt to halt a massive lawsuit brought by states over allegations that Facebook and Instagram were designed to addict young users. As a result, the case is moving toward trial later this month.
Madera County deputies arrested Fresno Police Officer Matthew Rodarte after he allegedly went to the wrong home while intoxicated and attempted to enter it. He faces allegations of attempted burglary, threatening a crime with intent to terrorize, and disorderly conduct. The Fresno Police Department has placed him on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
