Officials say too many duplicate signatures were found in the sample, forcing a full manual review of all petitions. While it could still qualify, election leaders warn the timeline is now tight, putting the measure’s chances in jeopardy.
An Inland Empire family says they were stunned after discovering what appeared to be someone else’s ashes inside an urn they bought on Amazon. The family is now trying to track down the person’s loved ones, but says responses from Amazon and the seller have been slow and frustrating.
