Abebe argues that the phrase “breaks silence” turns privacy into a story, implying that people have a duty to comment publicly when, in many cases, they don't. 

The Justice Department is investigating whether Corey Lewandowski's actions while serving as a senior DHS adviser were tied to improper contracting practices or personal financial benefit. The inquiry stems from a DHS inspector general referral, remains in its early stages, and no charges have been filed. Lewandowski denies any wrongdoing.
