BAKERSFIELD: Woman Arrested After Shots Fired at TV Station

Arias Proposes $1 Million Legal Defense

Lawsuit Against Kimberly Guilfoyle Escalates

Fresno City Councilmember Miguel Arias will introduce a resolution to reestablish the city’s Immigration Legal Defense Fund, scheduled for Fresno City Council consideration on October 22, 2026. The proposal directs the City Manager to prioritize identifying available funds to allocate $1 million to the program.

A donor's lawsuit against Guilfoyle has become more contentious, with the donor threatening to disclose alleged information about Trump while maintaining that his actions are not extortion. The allegations remain contested and unresolved in court.
