Communist-ruled island was already suffering from food shortages, blackouts and exodus of people, and now faces loss of cheap oil from Nicolás Maduro.  

The reveal that drew the president’s and the public’s interest was the proposed “Trump-class” battleships that would be “100 times more powerful than any battleship ever built.” He claimed these would be the largest-ever battleships, larger even than the Iowa-class behemoths.
