Graham Platner admits the texts were a personal mistake he and his wife have addressed, while trying to keep the focus on his campaign—but the reports have added to ongoing scrutiny during a competitive Senate race. 

A federal judge said the “86‑47” flag—while controversial—is political speech, not a credible threat, so the protest group can keep displaying it for now. 

Trump angrily confronted Netanyahu because Israel’s actions in Lebanon could blow up delicate negotiations with Iran and escalate the wider Middle East conflict.

California’s vote counting is slow by design. It happens because of Mail ballots, Late arrivals, Signature checks, and Large population. While critics question it, there’s no evidence that the delay means elections are rigged. 

California’s top‑two primary is a unique system meant to shake up politics. In reality, it still produces mostly traditional matchups and can create unexpected or risky outcomes. The process has mixed success in making politics less partisan. That’s why there’s growing debate about whether to keep it or replace it with a more traditional system.

Carjacking Suspect Arrested After K-9 Chase

Police chased a suspected carjacking/vehicle theft suspect in a white pickup. The pursuit went from Fontana into Los Angeles. The driver drove dangerously and evaded police attempts to stop him. Spike strip was deployed around 2:24 p.m. which appeared to successfully stop the vehicle long enough for officers to box him in.
