Teachers at Tehipite Middle School filed complaints accusing their principal of excessive partying, drinking on the job, and having sex with staff. The district’s complaint form assures whistleblowers that investigations take 20 days and that after another 20 days, the superintendent, or a designee, would issue a decision that “shall be final. ”The complaint was made in June and there are still no answers.

As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, 33% of U.S. adults say they are “extremely proud” to be an American, the lowest reading in Gallup's trend dating back to 2001. Another 20% say they are “very proud,” which means just over half of Americans express high levels of pride in their country. The Candy Shop sold out of almost everything at its soft open. It sells imported Swedish-style gummies, foams, chewies and sours by the pick-and-mix, and is open Thursday through Sunday.
