Mitch McConnell Hospitalized 

Fresno Unified Trustee Susan Wittrup calls for transparency and accountability following a student's fatal asthma emergency. Fresno Unified School District engaged in a coverup following the 2022 death of an elementary school student and that the case reflects deeper problems within district leadership. 

Even President Trump says he is completely in the dark about Mitch McConnell's condition. McConnell has been hospitalized since June 14, and despite claims from some Republican leaders that they have spoken with him, his office continues to provide few specifics about his health, fueling ongoing speculation about the longtime Kentucky senator's status.

Forbes reports that the first Freedom Fuel Network gas station has opened near Philadelphia, offering gasoline at $3.47 per gallon, significantly below local averages. While the White House says the privately owned company is simply operating on lower profit margins, questions remain about who owns the network, how it can sustain the discounts, and whether the model can expand beyond its initial 25 Pennsylvania and New Jersey locations. 

Fresno native Jason Turner lost his left hand after a suspected fireworks device exploded while he was cleaning up debris on a Northern California beach. In addition to the amputation, he is dealing with hearing and vision issues and faces a lengthy recovery, while his family seeks community support through a fundraiser.
