Fresno High Student Family Demand Records From FUSD

View descriptionShare

A person contagious with measles spent most of the day at Universal Studios Hollywood on July 26, prompting a public health warning. Anyone who visited the park between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. that day should verify their vaccination status, monitor for symptoms through August 16, and contact a healthcare provider if symptoms develop.

The family of Fresno High freshman Daniel Padilla Jr., who died after collapsing during PE class in March, is seeking records and possible surveillance video from Fresno Unified to better understand the circumstances surrounding his death. A judge declined to order the immediate release of the information, but the family's legal efforts to obtain answers will continue.
