After the shocking news that a longtime, now-former Fresno Art Council employee stole $1.5 million in taxpayer funds, the Fresno art community is voicing its outrage, knowing that dollars dedicated to funding their projects are now corrupted. Mayor Dyer and City Council leadership released a statement regarding the missing funds.  

The Clovis City Council approved to display the national motto ''in God we Trust'' in the council chambers. Between November and December of last year a community survey was conducted on the proposal.
