Public health authorities in Napa County on Wednesday confirmed a case of measles in an unvaccinated child who had traveled out of state, the Napa County Health and Human Services Agency said. This is the first measles case in the county since 2012, according to health officials.

President Donald Trump said he’d agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran on Tuesday, less than two hours before his 8 p.m. deadline to destroy a “whole civilization.”

The debate has sparked strong reactions, with supporters calling it an erasure of civil‑rights history and critics questioning Chávez’s legacy and whether schools should honor controversial figures. 

The district launched its audit on retirees’ dependents amid a network dispute that temporarily disrupted health care services for thousands of retirees and their dependents. Retirees last month filed a class-action lawsuit against the district over healthcare plan changes in 2023 they say diluted their benefits.
