A Fresno City Council candidate is running on an anti‑corruption platform, promising to clean up what he calls a “City Hall too corrupt to care.” District 1 candidate Naindeep Singh says he would push for an ethics committee, restore the ombudsman role, and act as a whistleblower to expose wrongdoing if elected.

Americans love trucks, and high gas prices aren’t swaying automakers. Ram has a new line of fuel-guzzling muscle trucks, and some in-your-face ads to sell them. 

The California Department of Public Health says the state is “experiencing an unprecedented outbreak” of severe illness, liver failure and deaths from people accidentally picking and eating poisonous wild mushrooms. In particular, the department points to the consumption of Death Cap and Western Destroying Angel mushrooms.
