The Los Angeles Unified School District on Tuesday unanimously approved new limits for young students, including a ban on devices in classrooms below second grade. In addition to the new limits, students will no longer be issued school computers to take home. The district will also block access to YouTube and social media sites during the school day.
Fresno Police say over 220 juveniles were safely returned to their parents or guardians through the department’s Safe Summer Operation curfew initiative. The initiative is intended to keep young people from becoming victims of crime during the summer months.
