Me too, Let's go. Micah and Miles had just moved into a new house. New homes are fun and a little sad. And do you have you ever moved before? Yeah? Moving can be exciting for a new place and new friends and new fun things. And it can also be a little scary sometimes. Yeah, I've moved before, and I feel a lot of different emotions. Mike and Miles were excited for a new place, and as they walked inside their new house, they were greeted by a new friend. Hello, that was a bird. What is a bird doing here? Oh? You see, that's Loki. Loki is a very friendly bird, and I guess has lived in this house for a very long time. Loki was really excited to have some new friends, Micah and Miles, and they instantly became besties. Miles, Hey, have you seen Loki. He's We were playing hide and seek and I can't find him. M m Miles looked around, Loki, where are you nothing? Micah and Miles started to scour the house, and pretty soon you found me, said Loki. The three of them were inseparable and over the next couple of weeks and months, as Micah and Miles settled into their new place, Loki was a really good friend and helped make it all a lot easier. And one day, Loki started talking about some kind of secrets. Let's see what he says, right, Yep, there's treasure in the basement, said Loki. Mike and Myles thought that Loki was just being silly. But I don't think he's joking. Mica, what do you think Loki's talking about with treasure in the basement. I don't really like to go in the basement because it's a little scary. Yeah, I don't know, but we should probably check it out, because LOOKI lived here before us, so let's check it out, Mica and Miles went down the stairs to the basement. Basements can be dark and a little stinky and a little scary sometimes, but just make sure we turn the lights on. Oh, Mr Jim loves it. When we turned the lights on, Micah started to walk around the basement and I didn't see anything. Miles was still coming down the stairs holding Loki, and Loki said, there's treasure here. But looky, why do you keep saying that. You keep saying there's treasure here, But I look around and this basement is completely empty. It's hiding, Rock hiding. Wait a second, Miles, I think he's telling the truth. Loki, where is this? And like, where's it? What's it from? Rock? A pirate used to live here and that's why I live here, and then the pirate never came back, and now it's treasure is hiding hiding. Oh boy, Okay, do you know like how we can find it? Said Miles Rock. Yes, I do. I'm surprised it took you this long to ask. Rock. Look under that step right there, and you will find a map to the treasure. Mica and Miles looked down to the step. Loki was pointing at that step It was a little crooked, and as they reached down and touched it, it moved and it slid right out that step. That board was very loose enough to just pick right up, and they turned it over and sure enough, on the other side there was a map. No way, Mica, this is crazy. That's a real map. Do you think it leads to a like? Wait? What is it? What does it say? As they turned it all around in different directions, it was hard to see which way was up and which way was down. But pretty soon Miles, I think he figured it out. Mica, Look, look at that, I think on the map right there, I think that's the stairs. I think this is a map of our basement. Mica and Miles both couldn't believe it. Were they really standing in the basement of an old pirates home. I think that is true. What good job. Now. I don't know how to help you, because the pirate never showed me. I just saw him one day put this map right there right. Loki had been very helpful and he still might come in handy, but I guess he doesn't know where the treasure is. Mica and Miles started to scour all around the basement. What was once an icky, scary place was now a place of adventure. I wonder what they're going to find. The map was pointing to some I don't know what that is. It looks like snakes. Wait, snakes. Mike and Myles didn't like snakes. And then Mike I said, wait a second, no, no, no, no, those aren't snakes. I think those are the water pipes over there. Look. Oh, yes, the water pipes in the ceiling and on the wall look a lot like snakes if you drew them. Okay, they're not snakes. Good, good, good, all right. Uh. As Micah held up the map and looked around the room, they walked closer to where the pipes were, and high up there was something shining. Hey, Miles, can you grab a stool or something. I want to reach up there. There's something there's something up there. I couldn't quite tell what it was, but Mica definitely saw something shining, kind of like glistening in the light. Miles ran upstairs to get a stool and came back down, put the stool directly under the water pipes, and Mica climbed up. It's right up. There's a bunch of cobwebs, that I touched one. I touched the cobweb. Ah, Miles helped me. It's on my face. A cobweb had fallen right on Micah's face and oh, that's gross. Miles pulled it off of his face and oh, that was disgusting. Okay. Micah reached back up, careful to not touch any more cobwebs, and what he pulled out were a pair of glasses. Wait a second, glasses. Mike was expecting something different, like maybe a treasure box or something, but it was just glasses. Oh these are awesome, said Miles. These look like they're from hundreds of years ago. Look at these silly things. As Miles put the glasses on his face, he squinted in his eyes to make him look really old. Yes, maybe I'm a pirate. Wait, wait a second. As Myles looked through the glasses, he picked him off his nose and put him back on and off and on. It was like he was seeing something through his glasses that he wasn't seeing with his normal eyes. He said, Micah, you're not gonna believe this. Look put these on quick. Micael put the glasses on, and sure enough, as they looked through the glasses, they could see on the walls something glowing like a message. What it's some kind of invisible message, said Micah. And it's only visible if you put these glasses on. It says, ye shall not dig here. What does that mean? Ye? Is that like an old word? Yeah? I think that means like us. It's talking to us, said Miles. Ye shall not dig here. Look, there's an arrow. Mike and Miles ran over to where that arrow was pointing. And that section of the basement, like the whole basement had concrete floor, except this part it was just like dirt and gravel. And that's weird that there would just be like a dirt part of the floor. Because Mike and Miles got closer, they thought to themselves, wait a second, it's saying don't dig here. I bet that's like the pirates way to try and hide its treasure. Should we dig? Mike and Miles instantly looked at each other. What are you win for, rock, said Loki. Yea better start digging. Mica and Miles grab some shovels, and holy smokes, you won't believe what they found. And we can't even talk about it because it's a secret. But it is definitely a treasure from a real pirate. The end woo, you listened all the way to the end, and you know what time it is. It's time for kid shout ouh.
