With an introduction from friends and fellow Australians King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, this mix was curated for KEXP by the groundbreaking Indigenous, all-women Ripple Effect Band. They bring us a sampling of the music currently being made by Australia's First Nations People, specifically from the region referred to as the “Top End” in the Northern Territory. Through many languages and musical stylings, these artists share stories of the oldest living cultures on earth.
