The video of the man pulling a gun on a pastor during his Sunday sermon in North Braddock has been seen all over the country. As News Radio KDKA's Paul Alexander reports, police say Bernard Polite's Sunday was actually worse before he made it to the church.
Polite was arrested and charged with attempted homicide after he pulled a gun and attempted to shoot a pastor during his sermon at a North Braddock church. on Sunday. Now he has been charged with the murder of his cousin. Allegheny County Police say Polite shot and killed 56 year old Derek Polite around 10 o'clock Sunday morning in the residence they shared in North Braddock. Allegheny County Police Superintendent Christopher Kearns says they don't have a motive at this time but they do have significant evidence.
Polite is being held in the Allegheny County Jail awaiting his preliminary hearing. Paul Alexander, News Radio KDKA.
