Natural gas producer CNX Resources  plans to build a $1.5 billion facility at Pittsburgh's airport  but only if President Joe Biden’s administration allows coal mine methane to qualify for tax credits that are central to the Democrat's plan to fight climate change. Darrin Kelly, president of the Allegheny/Fayette Central Labor Council tells KDKA Radio it's the most significant energy project in years. The facility is likely to face scrutiny from clean energy and climate change activists.

The pathologist became nationally known as a vocal critic of the Warren Commission report on the assassination of President Kennedy. The Squirrel Hill resident served as county coroner from 1970 until 1980 and county commissioner from 1980 until 1984. in a 2020 interview, Dr. Wecht told KDKA Radio's Larry Richert why he wanted to be a pathologist:

The Post-Gazette obituary says Dr. Wecht performed approximately 21,000 autopsies.

A man who last saw a missing Millvale woman is accused of stealing her identity. NewsRadio KDKA's Suzie Cool has the story:

Anthony Proctor is facing identity theft and other charges, accused of using Tracy Scanlon's state benefits card at a Sam's Club in the Harrisburg area. Scanlon has been missing since late February and authorities say the case is now a homicide investigation. Police say she was living temporarily with Proctor. When he was arrested, officers say Proctor denied knowing Scanlon, but a witness says they saw the pair together in public. Proctor fatally shot a man in Pittsburgh in 1994 and was convicted of third-degree murder. He was also found guilty of simple assault and reckless endangerment in 2010. So far, no homicide charges in the Harrisburg homicide case. Suzie Cool, NewsRadio KDKA.
