It's hot, hot, hot in the Bay Area and across the country this week and heat-related fatigue can have complex, negative effects on our brains and bodies if we don't take steps to beat the heat.

This is especially true of first responders, members of the military, and endurance athletes who need to maintain quick reaction times and good decision-making under hot circumstances.
