Some big changes coming to Southwest Airlines. The company announced it will be scrapping its trademark by ending its open-seating and start assigning seats to passengers as well as add red-eye flights.

Southwest Airlines assigns seats, extends legroom, and adds red-eyes

President Joe Biden addressed the nation yesterday for the first time since he made the official decision to not seek a re-election in November, marking the end of an era for the man who has been under the political spotlight for more than 50 years. 

Now that he announced he's passing the torch to a new generation, Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign today debuted her first TV ad.

A fire raging near Chico that started yesterday afternoon exploded over night with crews working hard to contain the more than 45,000 acre blaze. Mandatory evacuations are in place for Butte County and neighboring counties.
