Ukraine's surprise incursion into Russia's Kursk region more than a week ago signals a bold gamble for the country's military commanders, and it's proving to be more successful than the one attempted last year.
While the operation itself will likely not take Russia to the bargaining table, it does offer insight on how Ukraine's army is changing its strategy in the war.
