Musical artists' disdain for Trump exposes gray area in IP law

With election season in full effect, a growing number of artists are making it crystal clear they do not want Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to use their songs at campaign events. 

It's not surprising, as many artists objected to Trump using their songs back in 2020, but the conversation re-ignited after Trump recently used Celine Dion's hit song "My Heart Will Go On at a campaign rally.
