As more Americans become less active on dating apps, Bumble this week introduced a new strategy to encourage people to keep swiping.

Before, women were able to make the first move on the app. If she didn't start a conversation the match would expire after 24 hours. 

With this redesign, women can include a question on their profiles to which men who match can respond.
