ACL injuries shown to have longer-term impact on female athletes than males

Injuries are often a concern for athletes, but knee injuries are particularly an issue for women and can be career-ending.

A review from researchers at Nationwide Children’s Hospital finds that female athletes have a higher risk of sustaining an ACL injury, lowering the odds of returning to the sport than male athletes.
