Benny's mom has become a regular listener and we're not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Jeff talks about missing the simple comfort of having someone to watch TV and movies with, while the gang debates whether Handsome Jon is operating as intended. We also get into Benny's impressive self-control with his phone, KP's indecisive cold, and why sending KP out on location unsupervised may no longer be an option. Tune in for another week of questionable decisions and highly scientific observations.

Group Chat - Episode 26 - Thur. Oct 22/2026

KP reveals she missed most of the classic high school science dissections, which sends us down a rabbit hole of fetal pigs, frogs, and all the things that somehow seemed normal in science class. We debate the greatness of diet pop, revisit the old "cigarettes in the fridge" era, and learn more than we expected about difficult pregnancies. Plus, Jeff considers the reality of a group hot yoga class, and KP shares an unforgettable story involving a less-than-ideal experience in Mexico. As usual, things go off the rails quickly.

Group Chat - Episode 25 - Thurs, Oct 15/26

Backstage Ben admits he doesn't check the mirror before leaving the house, sparking a debate about morning routines and whether anyone actually knows what they look like anymore. We also get into the surprisingly heated world of dog food, why vet visits are somehow more stressful for pet owners than pets, and whether Jeff should just shave his head or finally book a hair-transplant trip to Turkey. Plus, KP takes an introvert/extrovert test and the results may surprise everyone.

Group Chat - Episode 24 - Thurs October 8/2026

KP nearly gets taken out by chewing gum, which somehow leads us into rubber mulch at playgrounds, convincing Backstage Ben’s mom to get a tattoo, and KP’s very questionable choice of “real” bedtime stories for her nine-year-old. We also wonder if we’ve finally hit our limit with true crime. Just another normal Group Chat with Jeff, KP & Backstage Ben.

The news is officially too much. 😂 We discover “ferritin face” is apparently a thing, admit we have absolutely no self-control when trying to eat better, and discuss our parents getting tattoos in their 70s. Just another completely normal Group Chat.

Group Chat - Episode 21 - Thursday Sept 17/26

This week, KP navigates the emotional rollercoaster of becoming a kindergarten parent and reveals her unique crying habits. The conversation takes a surprisingly deep turn as we talk about watching our parents age while somehow never picturing them as "old." Then things get weird when KP explains why she thinks prison life might actually be kind of chill, leading to a discussion about what we'd want written in our obituaries. We wrap things up with Jeff's latest battle: convincing himself to drink water on a regular basis. As always, it's a journey.

Group Chat - Episode 20 - Thursday Sept 10/26

KP returns from her two-week East Coast vacation with stories, observations, and a surprising confession about the job she wanted in high school. We discuss the little things bringing us joy right now, why shark attacks might be the ultimate way to go out, and whether hotel duvets are as horrifying as we suspect. Plus, we tackle one of life's greatest frustrations: if you've got food in your teeth or you stink, do people have an obligation to tell you? It's another completely normal episode of The Group Chat

Group Chat - Episode 19 - Thursday Sept 3/2026

This week: We solve the world's biggest problem...is there anything better than a hug? (KP invents the term "Melty Hug" and refuses to apologize for it.) She's also about to go on her first family vacation with kids and no diapers, we wonder why we're now buying back all the stuff we used to own at thrift stores, and Jeff wants an Air Canada captain's hat through a friend of a friend. The big question: cool souvenir or stolen valor?

Jeff, KP & Backstage Ben – The Podcast

Is summer burnout a real thing, or are we all just tired from saying yes to every BBQ, patio, kids' tournament, cottage weekend, and birthday party on the calendar? This week, they guys talk about the weird guilty feeling that hits after a big weekend of food, drinks, and questionable decisions. KP recaps her Summermis Party, and somehow the conversation takes a sharp turn into her staph infection-filled belly button and the decision to get into a hot tub anyway. Between exhaustion, regret, and medical choices that probably shouldn't have happened, it's another completely normal episode.
