Thembinkosi Mavimbela, known professionally as Vimbs Mavimbs, currently based in Hamburg Germany is a double bassist, composer, bandleader, producer and musical director. He has released his debut album “Late Bloomer”, the title of which, is much more than an album title—it seems to be the lens through which he understands his own journey as a musician. He opens up about it and more with Nothemba on Jazz and Beyond.
