THE HALCYON ARCHIVES Episode 16 features the late, great NYC DJ and producer ADAM GOLDSTONE, with a signature mix of deep house, hip-hop, dub and more. This session was recorded on March 24, 2004 at the original Halcyon on Smith Street. As music journalist extraordaire Bruce Tantum says in the intro to this episode, Adam was not only one of his best friends, but a much-missed member of the New York and international dance music community. 

Adam Goldstone, who sadly passed away too soon at age 37 in 2006 at his beloved Burning man was a super talented selector, journalist, longtime East Village resident and recording artist. His production work as Tiny Trendies and his own Lower East Side Stories album on the Nuphonic label are underground classics. This 1+ hour mix is the only surviving recording of Adam’s many visits to Halcyon and features the kind of eclectic DJ-ing skills and taste that Adam was known to play out regularly at club and lounge nights in NYC and London. Take yourself back to the early ‘00s as we honor one of the most beloved and legendary characters that the city has ever known. RIP Adam Goldstone.
