While we may all feel like we are "livin' on the fault line" in these trying times, NYC's premiere DJ/musicologist brings us back from the brink for Episode 10 of ALBUM SHOTS with a fresh batch of eight solid vintage and new soul, funk, jazz and other mind-blowing album cuts. Host Greg Caz, a top Brooklyn-based selector and prominent music journalist, serves up not only the title Doobie Brothers gem, but also brand new '70s inspired flavour from the incredibly prolific Shawn Lee, both solo and with his band Young Gun Silver Fox, a fresh Prince-inspired beast from Bobby Sparks II, some rediscovered previously unreleased gold from both Gilberto Gil with Roberta Flack and Todd Rundgren & Utopia, and more brand new spirited selections from legendary artists Flora Purim and the great Brian Jackson.
