The University of North Dakota beat Grand Valley State 17-14 in the 2001 DII National Championship in Florence, Alabama.

Dale Lennon recaps the game with Jack Michaels.

Lennon was hired as the head football at UND in 1999, before leaving for Southern Illinois in 2008.

Lennon is currently the athletic director at the University of Mary.
