    9:17---a visit with Jose Marie Griffiths—Dakota State University who last week was doing her fifth appearance before a US Senate Committee. Our Senator Thune introduced her as she talked about Artificial Intelligence---looking at the cybersecurity threats the ag economy faces as well as the critically important new technologies  that are becoming more prevalent in the ag Sector.

    DSU was said by the committee has played a critical part in ensuring our farmers and ranchers are able to take part in the tech revolution. DSU is in a partnership with SDSU---having launched a joint doctorate program.

    We appreciate working so closely with President Griffiths---and love the collaboration with our schools of higher learning.

    9:33---Tony Venhuizen---State Representative talked about the upcoming legislative session. What to expect?  Less to spend after covid bucks---we talked about what it does to the proposed prison site----small communities and projects. Not to mention those Legislators use to having plenty of fed money to spend—and will know find it difference.

    Tony along with Casey Crabtree—help us tell the stories----from Pierre and around the State. My job is to ask the questions—hoping they can help us plug in our listeners. We will continue to do that in 2024.

   Final guest for the day Brian Knochenmus—Tru Shrimp and Iterro Life Sciences. The big question for many—will there be plant build in Madison? We were told yes but it is know shells----and other products from the shrimp. Those that have invested will want to be kept up to date and we will do more of that in the remaining days of 2023 and into 2024.
