And yes you can count on Jodi having other breaking news stuff.
Jessie Schmidt---BBB of South Dakota--- yes another list of Email compromises to watch out for.
Business email compromise fraud is an email phishing scam that typically targets people who pay bills in businesses, government and nonprofit organizations.
Often the scammer poses as a vendor who emails an employee and asks them to wire money, buy gift cards or send person information. The money goes into an account controlled by the con-artist OF COURSE.
There is a holiday twist—scammers may impersonate “the boss” and email workers to buy gift cards for a holiday party or donate to a cause.
THE SMART SOLUTION? Check all email addresses and verify the email with the alleged sender. DON’T CLICK on links if you are not sure.
Jessie also talks about PHONY INVOICES, DIRECTORY SCAMS, STOLEN IDENTITY, Fake Charity Pitches, Phishing Scams, Office Supply Scams, Coupon Books, Vanity Award Scams, Overpayment scams, Voicemail hacking scams, Fake AI Services.

Each year Mike Costanzo tells us about the indoor show season for hunters. This weekend’s Dakota Territory Gun Show is the seasonal opportunity to buy, sell, or trade guns and gear for any other shooting sports. Shotguns, rifles, hand guns, ammo, and gear will be available on over 300 vendor tables. As a non-profit organization the Dakota Territory also contributes a portion of the proceeds from the show to youth hunting programs. The show is Saturday and Sunday—it is at the WH Lyons Fairgrounds---9-5 Saturday and 9-3 Sunday—admission is $10.
