   I’m Bill Zortman and welcome to our MONTHLY South Dakota Farmers Union Show.

   Once a month we partner with Farmers Union and with the help of their leaders---those they work with—including farm and yes ranch families from around South Dakota we get the idea of what they doing and when. And yes—how those in Agriculture can be a part of the important work that they do.

   Joining me in the studio this morning is a long-time friend Wayne Soren----and Rocky Forman----man we labeled much like I was at one time in the Texas Panhandle---The Man in Motion.

   Lots to talk about including the 7 amendments proposed in South Dakota---and promptly defeated. We’ll talk about what that means to start—we’ll talk with Rob Larew—President of Farmers Union---Gerri Eide who came back with some gold from the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis---and yes some of those that won---and we’ll even visit with Herd Builder Award Winners.

  It was a week ago---that voters nationwide went to the polls—to select offices from the White House---to House and Senate Races across the country.
  One of the questions that was out there---will we ever get a FARM BILL Passed---I would guess that Farmers Union President Rob Larew---by the time he finishes this week talking with Farm Broadcasters in Kansas City---and others in agriculture he might have a better feel---on a Farm Bill passage in 2025---
