Tonight marks the end of a 20 year chapter that has meant more to me than I can fully put into words.

First Bank & Trust has been more than a place to work, it has been a place of growth, challenge, relationships, and purpose. Over two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible teammates who pushed me, supported me, and made the journey deeply meaningful. Deeply. TOGETHER, we experienced the highs worth celebrating and the lows that tested and strengthened us. I’m grateful for all of it. You all made me a better leader and person.

To my teammates both past and present - thank you. Thank you for your commitment, your character, and the way you show up every day for each other, our customers, and our communities. You are what makes First Bank and Trust the special place that it is and what it will continue to be.

To the Sioux Falls community, thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me and in our team over the last 20 years. It’s something I’ve never taken lightly. It was a privilege I took seriously. Our team will fill the small void I leave and then some. I’m excited to see so many outstanding leaders rise up.

While this chapter is closing, the connection never will. I will always be rooting for First Bank and Trust and for Sioux Falls. Always.
