    We followed that with Brent Baloun---Plains Commerce Bank---Monday and Wednesday member of the crew in our Ag Show—talking about “Planning” for the future. An important thing whether it be in Agriculture---Business---newly connected couples or older families. The planning we talk about and look to help people understand what is going on around them---and affects them.

    Sarah Heinrich---Growing Harvest Network---KFGO Fargo ---shares her best stuff keeping in mind that not everybody is in North Dakota---and our listeners are in Minnesota-South Dakota-Iowa—Nebraska---and many others that joined our Award Wining Works from KELO-AM. Even got a National Award in Scottsdale, Arizona this year---and challenged them to keep in mind “My Little Country Towns”. Those country towns are a big deal.

    Matt Swenson---Swenson Commodities—had our first numbers for May. Swenson Commodities have been trusted and around for a long time. We appreciate him keep our audience informed on grains, meat—energy and yes that Big Board on Wall Street.

   Jaime Wood –SBA of South Dakota has kept us update across South Dakota this week----today is Happy May Day? They spend first half of the week in Rapid City hosting the SBA Deputy Administrator Dilawer Syed and Region 8 Administrator Aikta Marcoulier. In Sioux Falls on Thursday—SBA will give out some of the State Awards—Nick and Greg Heineman-co-owners of Look’s Marketplace, Obed Garza—owner of Garza Insurance and Jodi Schwan---Owner-Sioux Falls Business will get the awards. 

    It’s been a week of growing---seminars and coming together. Webinar has been focusing on Webinar: What SBA can do for entrepreneurs in South Dakota. It is free—and can help star or grow a business in the May 7th event. Register at BBB South Dakota or at sba.gov/southdakota.

    SDFU’s Samantha Olson—shared with us upcoming events Statewide----camps—discussions and working together. We heard as well about the Sioux Falls Sculpture Walk which this year will have 80 sculptures. 

   Justin Glisan—Iowa State Climatologist joined us this morning---we talked abut the heavy rains in the Hawkeye State----what to expect in the days and weeks ahead----and answered the question is the Drought over.
