   In case you didn’t know we call our 9-10 Friday It’s YOUR Business Show the Informational Family Friday Show----most of the guests join us each week---9-10---and they come back just like my reporters use to on television all over the country.

   Only thing is –they work all week putting together the story lines---and figuring out what is important. What a posse!!

   This morning we started (as usual) with Jodi Schwan---Sioux Falls Business. She has worked all kinds of tv and print media---knows how to tell a story---and we take 5 minutes to tell what has happened this week and what to expect today, tomorrow and beyond.

   For instance—Spring Creek Golf Course got New Owners. Started with kids asking dad could we have a golf course. He said yes---and now it’s part of the family. 

   We started talking about it Monday morning with the Remodelers Show---the incredible numbers on building activities in Sioux Falls. That comes at a time that many other communities are moving a sideways or backward direction. New ownership at McNally’s as they Reopened. 

    That was just part of the story---Jessie Schmidt—BBB of South Dakota always gives us food for thought---things to think about—or if it has already happened to you---what is it and what do you do about it.

    Jessie talked about the Top 5 Vacation Scams---and what to watch for when you make those plans to go-somewhere and you can make sure that what you are hearing is the truth. When Jessie speaks---I listen---and having been a TV reporter that solved problems on the air every night—I appreciate her sincerity and willingness to keep our audience and those that count on the Better Bureau for instructions informed. If she has breaking news we needed someday before Friday she has talked with us –and we got it to our audience quickly.

    From Experience Sioux Falls---it was Krista that joined us this morning---among the topics—now that we are in June and well into summer—what do you seed that we need to know. It wasn’t just one thing---it was many—and know Experience Sioux Falls—Teri and Krista will help you if it is jump rope contest, or you name it—they will make you feel comfortable.

    Kip Rounds---South Dakota Game Fish and Parks---talked to us what they are finding on the lakes---in the fields----and those that want to find both. Kip helps us understand what is going on----and know that the pheasants respect him too.

    Ron Nelson---Nelson Commercial Real Estate talked to us this morning about what he considers the busiest streets in Sioux Falls. He chose 41st Street, Minnesota Avenue—and East 10th. 

    Why 41st---it was the main street of retail and commerce. The City started getting concerned about the traffic getting out of control so in the mid 80’s they started to diverse traffic to other streets to cut down on the congestion. Then there was 49th and then 57th.  

    What we are seeing is a Commercial Real Estate guy—that knows it town---where is the traffic and what is changing. 

    WE hard from Amy Somlik---Lake Lorraine Farmers Market. Thursday—Forever 605 Day was handing out South Dakota Stickers---yes it is a 605 area code---and it inspires residents and visitors alike to care for the state thru the responsible, respectful travel. 

     Lake Lorraine Farmers Market is open every Thursday from -7PM on the east side of Lake Lorraine. Stay up-to-date on Facebook. 

     Occasionally Lake Lorraine brick-and-mortar businesses may join the market to promote their businesses.

      Cat Clark---updated us on what they are doing in the Golf Business—Tonight is the 1st couples themed night at Prairie Green—and Trivia Night. Sunday is the Adult/Junior Alternate shot at Kuehn Park---Monday registration opens for Couples Casino Night at Prairie Green for Friday June 20th. And Tuesday registration opens for the City Championship---quite the big, competitive tournament. 

      From the Sioux Falls Canaries—Jon Gaskins shared how the Birds won 15-4 last night—and tonight is Jaboree Henry Night----

     Diana Patterson---Sanford Career Opportunities---was looking Administration Assistants not only in Sioux Falls but system wide.
