Blog---June 3, 2024-9-10—Remodelers Show
  In our Remodelers Show to start the 6th of the year---we covered a lot of housing  and options that include the Realtors Association—the Home Builders Association—Volunteer projects from the Deffenbaugh’s and Home Builders----and even our long time leader—Tony Bachman and what they are doing for a small community in Iowa.
   Butch Warrington provided some important numbers for us on the Building Permits for the City of Sioux Falls---January 1 thru May 31st-
We don’t have final numbers for May, but we’ve seen steady activity in the month, even with all the activities of graduations and Mother's Day, with a lot of showings and steady open house traffic.

Teddi Mueller—Executive Director Home Builders Association shared the Annual Repair Affair Event Day set for June 4th—this year 8 projects scheduled-partnerships” The event is organized in collaboration with the Home Builders Care Foundation. 
Since 993—volunteers have contributed over 7,000 hours completing 278 accessibility-related projects in the Sioux Empire—Care completing-278 accessibility-related projects in the Sioux Empire---
Jessie  Deffenbaugh talked as well about the wheel chair ramps they have been working on for years.   As a result of the Repair Affair Day—88 wheelchair ramps have been constructed, benefitting those with limited mobility and Physical Disabilities---
   Dave and Kelly Kelly at 9:32—shared with us projects they are doing to help those who don’t know where and how to turn. Stories are always interesting---and for our audience—when they lesson –we find they may find ways to let others know what is truly important.
   I even received a call after the show today—about how what they are doing could help her. In essence that is what our show does.
   Todd Boots---Past Local and State President for the Home Builders Association updated us on what they are doing—the election  scheduled for tomorrow-----and what he is seeing in the rural areas taking care of home building and repairs. He’s always interesting. Steve Swenson—Handyman-usually is part of the show---but not available today.
    On the Repair side—Jerry Berg---Intek—shared the work they are doing and a commercial or two----and Joe Hansen----Extreme Heating and Cooling shared the calls they are getting on heating and cooling. Yes they are busy ---and with heat again this week—if you are not up to normal---call and plan –they can and will take care of you.
     Our Remodelers Show---is one of two of those shows we do----the other next week is the Report Card Show-----we bring the experts together—those elected—or voted to be part of those working together. It’s a show we have done for more than 10 years.
