(((YEE HAH—I’m Bill Zortman and WELCOME to our It’s YOUR Agri Business Show---yes a SPECIAL Monday Show that gets you started with our 9-10 Business Show---and the 10-11 Agri Business Show---which salutes the #1 industry in South Dakota---AGRICULTURE------and last week—with all we with agriculture farm shows and the Jamboree Days in Hartford----I took a number of calls saying they wanted our help with some of there projects ---one was in Yankton-Vermillion----another many miles north of Sioux Falls in South Dakota----in essence can we work with you in Agri Business or even in the Business Hour.

   We are here to help---and yes we do work thru our Sales Team to do projects----but we can help---our audience has grown thru our 52-43 shows----in fact two gentlemen stopped me as our family and their in-laws were enjoying bacon and more at Sickies—late afternoon.

   We like to help----and partner---and last week it was Jamboree Days in Hartford----quite the experience as introduces the new little Miss Hartford---and two of the judges for that event who came  from Chicago to see just how a community in South Dakota—does the kind pageant that we did. They joined us in studio on Friday----in what was a salute to South Dakota---with their pageants with those in Chicago learning what we do and how----

   Not sure what this week will bring----but lets get started----

interviewing via telephone (605)-484-2685 Matt Zolnowsky - President, Owner & Founder of Zinvent Industries, Inc. - Rapid City, South Dakota.

      Would you share with us the history of your company?  Started in 2017 after being a seasonal side gig since 2005.

      What products does your company sell?  We manufacture fish friendly water pump intake screens when irrigators or firefighters pump water out lakes and streams that host endangered species like salmon in the West Coast rivers.

       do you provide the sales of your products just in the Rapid City region?  90% of the products we manufacture are shipped to California, Oregon, Washington, and ID where there are abundant juvenile fish in the small mountain streams (fish that just 'hatched')

     Why are your products better than the products that your competitors make?  Our flagship product was jointly developed with the US Forest Service. This partnership essentially gave me a contract to make 10,000 units 2 years ago.

      How many employees do you have?  One, plus a summer intern. So far, we have been able to handle all sales.

     Is your company growing?  And if so, why?  Growth is planned. The Forest Service standardized this equipment on all of their small pumps. We look to make other sizes for the Forest Service soon and tap into other water pumping markets.
