---but last week---Darren Hefty and Zack---talked to us about 100 scholarships they are working to help give-away---

The Hefty---caught our attention and we wanted to talk about it again on this Friday show---

Where are we----how do you get in line for one of those scholarships----and what more should we have included---

------------Hefty(s)-------------

I live in Hartford—yes one of those Sioux Metro Alliance Communities---and last night---10 young lades went thru their paces---to become the little Miss Hartford---

The winner has joined us---along with two of the judges----who called asked if they could be part of the 5 judges selecting the little Miss Hartford---

The answer was yes—so we have the winners and two of the judges that drove hundreds of miles to help be part of the event last night---

---------lets talk to the winner and the judges and those helping with the pageant----and the parade that is scheduled for Saturday---

-------------all about Little Miss Hartford and the weekend---

Jerry Schmidt long time friend---long time advocate of agri-business—Jerry Schmidt—is retiring next month on July 8th

We have worked together-talking soybeans---and promoting all we could for our South Dakota Growers---

    Special—but needed----

Mr. Tree

--John Ball—we get more tree talk—and very much needed whenever we reach John Ball. He is valued not only in South Dakota but other states as well. I don’t know how many states he has been asked to visit and lecture----but---it is impressive----

Alla

---ukraine-----what they are seeing in that part of the world----and for Alla—you lived in that now war territory facing difficulty—she can and does help us understand

South Dakota---wants the Ukrainian workers---they are proud—they work hard—and should be everything that this country would want in hard workers----I’ve made the trips---I’ve listened as a reporter----I’ve listened as a South Dakotan-----and yes—I buy in---and I’m not easy to sway---

Justin Glisin –Iowa State Climatologist--- keeps us understanding what not only he does—but what our South Dakota Climatologist—Laura Edwards does. They work together—so do those in Minnesota—that we still want to include in the days, weeks, and years ahead---

Having been a TV Weatherman –in several states---I appreciate what they say—and how they say it. We believe them---

---our time is up—thank you for yours.
