Our leader is now State Executive Director Roger Chase. From Huron but former leader in many circles----and it will be interesting to work with him in the weeks and months ahead.
The topic today was the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program---we were able to trade histories---and what we know about what is happening to our farmers today. My background is that of an Iowa Farm Boy----and when I’m talking with South Dakota Farm Boys---trying to make sure people have an understanding of what the government is doing----the flow of the conversation goes smoothly. What we also did was to set up—CAN CALL situations for Director Chase as well as Agri Business Show needs for our audience. Yes we did talk about agriculture being the number one industry in South Dakota…
My job is not to come off as a cocky broadcasters---but to study the points ---and try to ask for our listeners.
