I’m Bill Zortman and welcome to our It’s YOUR Agri Business Show—yes this officially in my retirement week with Mid-west Communication—we will cover a lot of territory—where we have been—and hopefully what we did was worth your time of listening and occasionally learning.

Lets start this Ag hour—with Casey Crabtree---who has been an ombudsman just like I’ve been---for me my first radio broadcasts were on scholarship at the University of Iowa---in 1964---62 years later—I’m closing this chapter in a multi-chapter set of recordings---that I have truly enjoyed.

As we have done in the last couple of years---we have utilized Casey at the Bat----even though he is from Crabtree Stock----

Thanks for joining us this Monday morning---what do you want us to know as we start this so very important Agri-Business Hour---

-------------------Casey--------------------

Casey Crabtree—thanks for all you do---and how you do it. Our listening audience appreciates your insight----and so do I----

We’ll check with some of the morning numbers----we’ll visit McCook Central---- and their big win----Mr. Tree will be with us----Laura Edwards----Sioux Metro ----and much more---all part of our It’s YOUR Agri Business Monday show---

Talk to us Nolan about how Plains Commerce Helps and what they do-----

---------------------Nolan---------------------

That could include Sioux Falls---smaller communities in South Dakota or perhaps even neighboring states---

(((MUSIC----This OLE HOUSE------YEE HAH)))

I’m Bill Zortman and welcome to our It’s YOUR Agri Business Show---show 53-76 in our ORIGINAL It’s YOUR Business Series.

Years ago after we established our first It’s YOUR Business Show here—an old manager of mine called and wanted to know WHY in SOUTH DAKOTA we did just a business show---and he convinced me and my bosses that we needed an Agri Business 2nd show—with Agriculture being South Dakota’s #1 industry. Today we are still doing it ----which put smiles on the faces of so many on the Farms and Ranches…so that is this show---and next Friday when I do my retirement show in this same slot---I’ll do so knowing that my old boss was correct---Agriculture IS SO IMPORTANT—and it was one of the best decisions this station and company ever made---

We start the show this morning—with a long time friend of mine—Congressman Dusty Johnson –who has been his traditional busy-self---meeting lawmakers to figure out where we are ---and where we are going---

---------------Dusty-----------------

So where are we going----between now and the end of October---and yes election day?

--------------------Darren------------------

Your national audience----what do you hear from them----concerns you have from neighbors as well---

--------------------Darren------------------

Darren Hefty---appreciate all you do for us in South Dakota and your national audience
