The first day of February----YES HEART MONTH----and we help you understand why that ticker is so important.

He helped us understand---cardiology---what they do---and why it is important to our listeners
His practice and that of his brother Adam---includes—
Dr. Stys also serves as director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.

The brothers’ understanding of the heart helps us in this time of the year---about keeping it ticking as healthy as possible.
Chrissy Meyer---American Heart Association gave a crash course---in numbers and making sure someone in your business—and your home understands CPR
She explained that more than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of a hospital in the US each year. That’s why this year the American Heart Association is devoting to world of longer, healthier lives for all—urging at least one person in every South Dakota household to learn Hands ONLY CPR during this Heart Month.
About 90% of people who suffer out-o-f-hospital cardiac arrests die---because about 70% of cardiac arrests happen at home, and the chances are a person who needs CPR will be a family member of friend.
Chrissy explained the hand-only CPR as quick and simple to learn and can be performed by anyone.
You can visit heart.org/handsonlycpr to watch and share the Hands-Only CPR instructional video. Be the Beat and help save a life.
9:32---there has been a business change at Reinecke Chiropractic---Dr. Joshua Jorde—who has been a part of the Dr. Reinecke team for a number of years---is now in his first month of ownership. Dr. Max will be staying thru 2025---but this morning Dr. Jorde did his first interview with us since an on location segment a few years ago.
We had a chance to talk to him about the bit of a rocky start with the weather---and today we talked about the rocky-slippery snow that covered us in January.
We talked about living with the pain isn’t fun----and Dr. Jorde—made it clear—he will be there—and will make those needing services---comfortable.
He is dedicated---experienced---and when you need a chiropractor---Jorde fits comfortably in your medical Toolbox.
His advice if you already have a chiropractor—don’t wait---get to see them sooner rather than later—and if you need a Chiropractor—Dr. Jorde could be just your ticket.
You heard this morning from Touchmark. February is Black History month and they will be sharing the work of some of their employees who can help with the culture—the back-ground and even the food of the black culture. Touchmark has been around for along time but they are always looking for ways to bring the community to those in need---and share the background of those that are part of the Touchmark team. Try them during February.
Wendy Dooley---Help Line—talked to us about some of the stress this year with the tight times---the abundance of snow---and the reason for people to worry about making ends meet. Wendy is a good one to help explain---what they are doing—and how they are helping. She did that again this morning.
