   It’s a Special Week in South Dakota---Fair Week---and with us making the trip to Huron for the State Fair on Friday to do the 9-11 show---we are featuring a number of the key Fair Factor Front and ready for FRIENDS like you.

   We started with Candi Briley---who heads the Fair Facts Farmed Out to all of us.

   We talked about the events—why you should make the drive to Huron and just how many would be there.

   Ag of course is the #1 Industry in South Dakota---and Q & A-ing a number of those involved---we got the facts and what will happen thru Labor Day.

   Candi does this year around---Geri Eide—FFA of South Dakota—brought along Laney Andrews who was given a statewide and Nationwide Award ---she is good at what she does---and we did have her back in our 10:00 hour.

   Tyler Tordsen---Sioux Metro Alliance---talked with us about the 250th Anniversary while will happen next year---nationwide---and they are looking for ways that the State Fair—could well be part of that in South Dakota. There will be more discussions---and it was nice the Tyler shared with us where we are at 249 and what 250 will be like.

   Christy Vastenhout---shared the events of the weekend with the 17th Annual McCrossan Boys Ranch Xtreme Event Challenge Rodeo and the Northern Bull Riding Tour in the Leo Flynn Outdoor Arena at the Ranch. Big crowd and the usual number is 2000 attending—we did the follow for the crowd, for the boys and community so they would know what the boys get out of it—and what we all get out of it helping the boys.

   Brenda Dreyer—SD Speciality Productions Communications Coordinator—talked to us about Friday’s promoting BEEF for the South Dakota State Fair. She explained what all the South Dakota Fair can do---and how Friday would be a day to give away beef and make people understand the story and the importance of it in South Dakota.

   Our It’s YOUR Business and Agri Business Stories this week will include the South Dakota State Fair---we’ll do the Friday 9-11---Show in our promotion the rest of the week. We make the trip to Huron for the Fair—and this year we are engaging as much as we can---promoting all that goes with it.
