   OUR VERY GOOD FRIENDS from SOUTH DAKOTA FARMERS UNION are back in the building for our 10:00 Show this morning—something we’ve been doing for more than a dozen years---we will visit with the President of National Farmers Union----Rob Larew---South Dakota Farmers Union President Doug Sombke---along with Gerri EDIE—all stuff State FFA Convention coming up Next Week---

 

   But this hour---we start with Congressman Dusty Johnson with an update on what he is seeing in DC with all the interesting talks and his race for Governor –in a field of four.

   Congressman---good morning to you--- lots of tough times out there in several parts of the world---where are we---what do you see----and for those that are scared to-death---what would you tell them?

69th Annual Sioux Falls Lions Clubs Pancake Days
At the Sioux Falls Convention Center

•    Lions Club Pancake Days is an annual family tradition – and it’s back today and Wednesday!  (April 14th & 15th)

•    Enjoy all-you-can-eat scrumptious pancakes topped with syrup from Hy-Vee, mouth-watering smokies, coffee, milk, juice … and top it all off with a bowl of delicious Wells Blue Bunny ice cream!

•    Tickets are $12 at the door; children 6 and under with parent / family are free.

•    The Sioux Falls Lions Clubs combine to serve over 8,000 people during the 2-day pancake feed!  That’s approximately 60,000 delicious pancakes & 40,000 smokies (made just for this event).

•    Trained Lions volunteers are flipping thousands of pancakes per hour to keep the line moving.

•    Proceeds from Pancake Days helps the Sioux Falls Lions Clubs raise vital funds to support community projects and assist those in need around the world.  Every dollar raised goes back into the community and toward global initiatives that make a difference.

•    With 11 grills and trained Lions Club volunteers, they can serve a lot of pancakes pretty quickly!  Bring the whole family for breakfast, lunch, and supper!
