 . Ages 10-20 years

 . Participate in 4-H FFA or similar organization

 . used to finance income producing Ag-related projects that ae modest in size

 . Repayment Term 1-7 years

 

  Beginning Farmer Definition:

  .Has not operated a farm or ranch for more than 10 years

  .Farm Ownership Loans added beginning farmer/rancher cannot own real property that exceeds 30% of the county average where the property is located

   Discuss options with your local FSA Loan officer, as no two farms are alike and there are more details that we can review in a short 5-minute segment. SD has amazing Farm Loan Program Staff who can work with many types and kinds of operations---reach out and make them connect with them----
