Peter Wertheim has been involved with the ECAJ for nearly 30 years and is currently its co-CEO. Peter previously worked as a lawyer for 32 years, during which he acted as honorary solicitor for a number of charities in the Jewish and wider communities.
We will talk about the outcome of the parliamentary measures to combat antisemitism, considering concerns about the nature of the legislation.
We will also look at how community members can make submissions to the Australian Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion and discuss the NSW inquiry that is currently considering measures to prohibit slogans that incite hatred. (0:33-30:36)

Pro-Israel advocates stumble or fall silent, while self-described neutral observers automatically side with the accusation.
